Due to unprecedented demand we have opened the Sanctuary to the public for FREE between 9am and 4pm.Stroll in our magnificent 35 acre Sanctuary and soak up native nature at its best....Only 20 minutes from the city....AND FREE!

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND WARRAWONG

Looking for something to do during the school holidays?

During these school holidays why not bring your children to Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary! Enjoy our interactive animal show which runs daily at 11 am and 2 pm.

Encounter some of Australia's more unusual animals including birds, reptiles, amphibians, marsupials and insects . Meet Bailey and Opal our resident python snakes. Wander through the Sanctuary, hand feed our friendly kangaroos and wallabies and enjoy the only Rainforest experience in South Australia.

Wander through the Sanctuary at your leisure.

Conclude your visit with a coffee or a light meal while our resident lorikeets and other birds entertain you.

Kid's play corner available to allow Mums and Dads to relax.

A NIGHT WITH A DIFFERENCE

Do you want to experience nature and cuisine in relaxing and breathtaking surroundings?

Join us for dinner in our Bilby Restaurant and then experience the stunning sanctuary with a guided Nocturnal Walk. After coffee, cake or something to drink, you can sleep in one of our comfortable Eco-Cabins. Awake to the sounds of the wild and enjoy breakfast with the birds.

VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Do you want to make a difference? Are you passionate about conservation and land management?

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, South Australia's unique sanctuary with native Australian flora and fauna, AND the only mainland Platypus colony, offers you the opportunity to participate in our pro-active Volunteer Programme.

Programmes include,daily,weekly and monthly participation with on site accommodation and an exciting schedule to help in maintaining and developing the Sanctuary.
